Newham African Caribbean Resource Centre

NACRC is a registered Limited Company and Charity that was established in 1986 in response to demands from the African Caribbean community for a physical base from which to initiate and deliver responses to their challenges and ambitions. Its establishment was led by the Newham African Caribbean Alliance, an association of the Borough’s African & Caribbean organisations, who came together to be the joint and representative voice of the black community in Newham. Our facilities are open to everyone, including persons of non-African-Caribbean origin, and the Centre has expanded its remit to include work with African Caribbean Communities in neighbouring boroughs.
